An exceptional example of Cartier’s High Jewellery watchmaking, this Cartier Panthère Jewellery Watch transforms the Maison’s most iconic animal into a fully sculptural timepiece.
Rather than simply referencing the panther through a motif, Cartier constructs the animal in the round around the case, creating a remarkable three dimensional composition in 18K yellow gold, diamonds, black spinel and black lacquer. The result sits somewhere between haute horlogerie and a piece of wearable Cartier jewellery.
The 36 × 34mm case is set with an extraordinary 440 brilliant cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.46 carats, complemented by 44 black spinels and hand applied black lacquer detailing.
